The 2022 Indian Premier League, also known as IPL 15, is scheduled to be the fifteenth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), a professional Twenty20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. The season will see the expansion of the league, with the addition of two new franchises

2022 इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग, जिसे आईपीएल 15 के रूप में भी जाना जाता है, इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग (आईपीएल) का पंद्रहवां सत्र होने वाला है, जो 2007 में भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआई) द्वारा स्थापित एक पेशेवर ट्वेंटी-20 क्रिकेट लीग है। सीज़न में लीग का विस्तार होगा, जिसमें दो नई फ्रैंचाइज़ी शामिल होंगी. 

Chennai Super Kings are the defending champions, having won their fourth title during the previous season. Although earlier reports suggested the addition of two more teams in the previous season, the BCCI at their 89th AGM announced that the expansion of the league would occur only in 2022.
 
चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स गत चैंपियन हैं, जिन्होंने पिछले सीज़न के दौरान अपना चौथा खिताब जीता था। हालाँकि पहले की रिपोर्टों में पिछले सीज़न में दो और टीमों को शामिल करने का सुझाव दिया गया था, बीसीसीआई ने अपने 89 वें एजीएम में घोषणा की कि लीग का विस्तार केवल 2022 में होगा।
  
A total number of 70 league matches will be played across four different IPL locations -- namely Wankhede Stadium, Brabourne Stadium, Dr DY Patil Sports Academy and Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

आईपीएल के चार अलग-अलग स्थानों - वानखेड़े स्टेडियम, ब्रेबोर्न स्टेडियम, डॉ डी वाई पाटिल स्पोर्ट्स अकादमी और महाराष्ट्र क्रिकेट एसोसिएशन स्टेडियम में कुल 70 लीग मैच खेले जाएंगे।
1- When is the first match of IPL 2022?

 The first match of IPL 2022 will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 26   and it will be a replay of last year's final, which will see defending champions Chennai Super   Kings take on IPL 2021 runners-up Kolkata Knight Riders. It will be the first match as captain of   KKR for Shreyas Iyer.
